At 2,600 sq ft., 2 of the three bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs. All mattresses are queen, Tempurpedic style. In the master bath are an open slate shower and Japanese soaking tub. The first floor has an open spacious design, appointed kitchen, concrete floor and suspended fireplace orb. And if you must- the home is also equipped with wireless Internet access. Within a few blocks you can find restaurants, the HSU Marine lab, the Beachcomber coffeehouse, a market, small shops and Katy’s (famous fish market) Smokehouse. Or walk down the hill to kayak in the same bay you see from the house, or take a **** gorgeous 50-minute loop hike around the majestic Trinidad Head. Ample, easily accessed local recreational activities include beachcombing, hiking, surfing, bicycling, bird watching and wildlife viewing. A half hour drive north takes you to the State and National Redwood Park systems with numerous enchanted walks/hikes in the ancient redwood forests, or go Jetboating on the Klamath River.

Recently stayed in this property and could have not been more pleased. Extremely clean and well organized.

Plenty of linens/towels for a full house. glasses, plates, utensils etc.. ready for use in the kitchen. I would have liked to see more pans though, this made for cooking on the stove difficult. The grill outside was functional and full of gas which made it our main source of cooking.

Hot tub was OK, a but cloudy. Just specify the tub is checked prior to arrival.

half a block from Katy's Smokehouse, a 2 min walk to Trinidad beach and a quick drive to the Redwoods State Parks, this location could not have been better!

We had the most fun ever, loved the house. Clean, spacey and unusual! It was better than I had thought of. The property manager Reid was wonderful , I thank you for the wine also. We will be back, hopefully every year from now on!!   Glad you enjoyed. Should have given us a call about the heater. It's a tricky system because it's solar powered primarily, and radiant floor which takes times to kick in, but the propane heater kicks in when the other doesn't heat enough. We would have taken care of that for you.

The location of the home is wonderful, the town delightful. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and the hot tub was cloudy. There are very little window coverings, so no sleeping in. However, the property management was incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. They made every attempt to make us comfortable. They left wine and flowers when we arrived and called and responded to our needs within minutes. The parking is minimal, but the house is very child friendly (except for a toddler). Our family of four and the grandparents were very comfortable and relaxed.

we arrived from oregon to find the cleaners still there and had to chill for an hour, they left the d/w on with the wrong soap which spilled out into the room so we had to call the manager, poor start! also lack of info on recycling, where to get rid of waste after sorting, otherwise it was a great vacation

We have a toddler (15 months) and the house is gorgeous but dangerous for that age--I didn't realize there were so many open stairways to guard against.
Also the lock box was difficult to manuver.
The literature in the house is conflicting about clean up so it was confusing as to whether or not to do laundry, etc. My thought was why pay a cleaning fee if I had to do all the cleaning?
We had a great time and would rent from you again--you were very quick to respond to my last minute request for a rental and I really appreciate it!

the architecture of this house is awesome; there are so many neat and unique features. the solar power and water heating system is very impressive and super eco-friendly. the japanese style soaking tub is spectacular and so are the views out the windows and doors. we enjoyed the house speakers and of course the hot tub. thank you for renting this house out!!!

by the way...on the left side of the japanese tub, where it meets the "counter", needs to be caulked. we noticed, only by running our fingers along the edge that it is not caulked on that one side. this could be a potentially huge problem if water is getting under there...

Fabulous hiking trails in walking distance from the home. The beach is just a skip down the hill. Although, relaxing at the house after a long day is just as rewarding.

A beautiful view. Great weather with a nice breeze. Loved hearing the harbor bell. Could not use the wireless network. We did get onto the network of the property but not the internet without reconfiguring my laptop. So we did without and this is the only place that happened. The bathtub was unique and might of been fun for the family but the plug could not be removed to drain it and my husband bailed the tub out. It was deep and difficult to do this. A big pain. And we did not use it after that. However we were not there for the internet or the tub. We had a wonderful time.

Our stay was too short. We loved the house. Beds were different, and a little hard to adjust too, but I loved them anyway (not so much my husband). The area is awesome and I do hope to return some day and say in the same house. The hot tub is drained monthly, and we were at the end of the month so the water was not clear. I was hoping to enjoy it more than once, but I guess i am a bit weary from having a bad experience in the past elsewhere. I just wish it looked clearer. The house needs a cooie/baking sheet. again, i did love the experience and hope to return some day.
