  This is the first time we've rented a house on a trip. We were amazed at the size, furnishings, care in keeping it up, and the historical background of the cottage that was visible. We'd like to stay there again.

  Loved the house and location. It has great ocean views, coincidentally was very near the friend we came to visit, and close to everything. Loved the decor, lighthouses everywhere!!! Very cozy and comfortable space.

  Arrived to find a quaint little cottage with a great view of the ocean. Took quite awhile to air out the cottage, seemed like it had been closed up for some time. Overall it was neat and clean. We had some issues with the cooking stove. Is not level making it a little difficult to use. Also the bathroom needs some care above the shower. Overall, we liked the rental and would come back again. A nice get away!

  We loved staying in this cozy cottage, with its amazing view. We had terrific weather, most of the time, and enjoyed sitting on the deck, eating, having a glass of wine, and reading books. The only problem we had was that we couldn't get the BBQ started. We didn't call the management company because it was late. Instead, we cooked in the kitchen, which was well stocked with everything we needed. We walked around town, and down to the beach, and took in the sunset. Hopefully, we can stay there again sometime!

  We spent a great week in the lovely Harbor Cottage in Trinidad! The location was perfect for enjoying the Bay, the northern California Coast, and the giant redwoods.   Excellent little kitchy seaside cottage for 4. Great location. Views from inside and lovely front deck. Walking around the corner to full-srvc market, Beachcomber café, Moonstone cellars tasting room, and last but not least -- the Eatery, a wonderful B,
  L, D destination for great meals, comfy booths and old fashioned caring service. Comfortably appointed kitchen. Large bath w two sinks. Only recommend better twin blanket for the trundle twin-bed in second BR. All in all, a lovely spot to set up basecamp and
  explore Arcata (10min), Eureka(20) and the Redwood parks (30 min). For people who don't want to get their car, the cottage sits at the trailhead of gorgeous in-town hiking around Trinidad head and skimming the beautiful beaches below the bluff. (5min to 1
  hour walks with breathtaking views; some of the best hiking in Humboldt onsite). Good for two couples or a couple traveling with 2 kids. Would recommend this little place to friends in a second. Viva Trinidad! Viva Humboldt!

    Second bedroom has a twin bed with a pull out bed that goes next to it. agreed that that bedroom is better for kids. We do have that in the descrition. Glad you enjoyed the home.

  We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. It was what we were seeking--quiet, peaceful, solitude. A couple of suggestions to upgrade: new couch and recliner, both pretty worn out. And a couple of chaise lounges on the deck would be great for sunning in the afternoons. Great stay, we loved it.

  Cute house. Great spot. Garbage unsightly. Asked to recycle our stuff, but no way to do that. BBQ needs some help. Super comfy bed. Gas fireplace a challenge to say the least. Happy with our stay though.

    Thank you for the feedback. We have since added 3 recycling cans and purchased a new bbq. We also added another garbage bin so there is plenty of space for the weekly pickup. In terms of the gas fireplace, it just comes on with the thermostat. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

With the exception of a mix-up in the beginning (they gave us the wrong apartment and another family showed up), which was immediately ameliorated, everything was wonderful. The houses were exceptional and clean with fantastic views, and the management was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The bed in 2nd bedroom was too far soft for my taste, but the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the historic photos and narrative on the wall as well.   The cottage was comfy, if a bit dated. I stayed there with my parents for two nights, and it suited our needs. The bedrooms are small, and could use new bedding. Also, the bed in the guest room, which is a single, was soft and lumpy and needs replacing. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was great. Again, the furniture, including in the living room, was a bit worn, and could use replacing. It was nice to be able to walk right to the beach, and also to breakfast, and even to a tasting room, one block away.
