Trinidad is located on north coast of California, 280 miles north of San Francisco and 80 miles south of the Oregon border. The Arcata/McKinleyville Airport is located just 10 minutes in McKinleyville, with connections to San Francisco, Sacramento, Redding, and Oregon airports. Trinidad is a beach community of 350 residents and is one of the smallest incorporated towns in California, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A public fishing pier, marine lab, incredible beaches, natural history museum, cafes, restaurants, gift shops, a surf shop, and lots more to discover in this quaint fishing village. Great hikes including a 4 mile round trip hike through Trinidad State Park to Elk and and College Cove Beach and a 2 mile loop around Trinidad Head (seen in the photo to the left).
