  WE enjoyed the house so much. The location was great and had everything we could think of. However, two things the towells were in rough shape and having cats in the garage was a little creepy. Our boys had great fun with the bikes going to the beach and in the loft. We would come again

  since this is a home for the residents most of the year, it was very much decorated in that manner. There was lots of childrens art and even pictures of the kids, which should probably be left out of a vacation rental. It definitely felt like we were in someone elses house.The childrens bathroom off the kids room smelled like urine but Overall the house was nice, and met our needs. The hot tub and sauna were very dated but worked.

  1) The advertisement reads, You'll really enjoy this beautiful new 2700sq ft. beach house above Moonstone Beach in Trinidad, just a five minute walk down to the beach. This is not a beach house, you can not see the beach or hear the ocean. The walk to the beach is about a 20 minute hike down a steep road with no area to walk except down the middle of the road. This is dangerous with small children. Also, this house is not NEW at all. Although there has been some remodeling, it is very clear from the walls, plumbing and bath fixtures, exterior, landscaping and more that this is an old house with some updating. 2)It reads, In a quiet neighborhood This neighborhood would be quiet except for their neighbor's dog that barks all day and night and the numerous cars that drive up and down the road. reads, ocean views from the decks and many of the rooms The only room that slightly has an ocean view, if not socked in with fog, is the upstairs loft where they have a telescope. We could not see the ocean at all due to high bushes in front of the front deck. There is no view at all from the back deck. 4. It reads, we almost forgot to mention the jacuzzi, outdoor shower and large wood-burning redwood sauna The jacuzzi is 20+ years old and has been repaired numerous times, which can be seen by its discoloration. The cover was broken in two and it maybe could fit 2 adults. The Sauna is a converted shed that has a fire place inside. It was filled with cobwebs and could not possibly be up to code. We never did see the outdoor shower. 5. It reads, formal dining room There is in fact no dining room at all, just an area for a dining table. A formal dining room would have walls and a doorway separating it from other areas of the home. 6. It reads, hardwood floors throughout In fact, hardwoods were only installed in some of the downstairs - not into all of the bedrooms and not at all upstairs. 7. It lists 2 queen beds, these are actually futons

  My party of 8 loved the guesthouse. We had plenty of room for our dinner parties and used the grill and large kithchen every day. The house is south of town and a short drive to one of the best beaches in the area. The only thing that would have made it better is being in town or on the beach. I have no complaints and would highly recommend the property.

  overall size of the house was great, location very good easy to access. Lots of privacy.I wouldve like to see the kitchen drawers/cutlery much cleaner and less clutter. I understand this is a family home but seeing vitamins/personal stuff makes it a litle intrusive. I dont mind if it is a friends home but a rental should be more impersonal in this area. I love the books, music and movies. When I opened the sofa bed it seems like it has not been used in a long time, there was crumbs and dirt under the cushions. An information sheet about what to do with the garbage, recycling and how or where to leave the linens would be of size of the twin beds too(on the web site).they are nor completly adult size. This are just minor details to take care of. We really enjoyed our stay and the house. Walks to the beach and closeness to other towns. Bathrm upstairs is beatiful & the hardwood floors. We had and found everything we needed there. Again thanks for the wonderful property and I hope some of my suggestions are taken into consideration. We rent in the winter in Lake Tahoe 2 X a year and other places so I know what to expect in a rental property that is why I am honest with my comments.
